Mexican Sole collars & leashes are hand woven by Indigenous Women from the community of Chamula, located in the southern part of Mexico in the Chiapas region.

The Artisans use an ancient Mayan weaving technique that has been passed down through many generations. To make a single collar it takes 1 hour of weaving time, leashes take up to 2 hours to weave.

Each piece is unique and the Artisans do not follow a guide when it comes to the colours they choose for the collar, they simply pick the colours that they are enjoying at that time.

Once the weave is ready they are sent to our leather workshop in Sahuayo, Michoacan to the same location where our beautiful Huaraches are made. The highest quality leather is used to create the leather part of the collar.

Whether you are taking your one of a pup to the beach or for a day out on the town, the beautiful bright colours will make them the envy of all the other dogs are the park!
